02What to expect
What a horror escape room at Xcape is like
Each horror room is its own built set, with sound, lighting and mechanical effects built in. The stories run from a love letter sent by a dead classmate to a clown that feeds on fear, a church where a group of YouTubers vanished, and a doll left in an exorcist’s warehouse.
In Confession there's also a live actor in the room with you. The other horror rooms are your group, the set and the clock.
If some of your group don't do horror, book a thriller or a non-scary game for the same time slot and compare escape times afterwards.

How long is a horror escape room?
60 to 75 minutes on the clock. Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, the waiver and your briefing.
